Need A Vaccine? Walk-Ins 16 + Now Welcome At State Sites
It is easier than ever right now to get your COVID-19 vaccination.
We have pretty much done a 180 from when the vaccine process began. When we started out supplies were limited as were appointments. Now, anyone 16 and older can walk into state and country-run vaccination sites to get their shots, according to a News 10 report. In fact, where there was once a shortage of vaccine doses there is now a surplus and not enough arms for shots to go into. Albany Country Executive Dan McCoy told News 10 vaccine supply is now exceeding the demand for shots.
The bolstered vaccine supply along with promising new therapeutics all point to huge progress when it comes to winning the war versus COVID. Maybe after what has been the longest year ever for all of us, we are about to embark on the best summer ever? It's time to catch up on everything we missed out on last summer!
