My Best Friend’s Girlfriend is Jealous of Me

Here's the "Daily Dilemma" for Thursday, January 5th, 2012:

"My best friend is a guy and I am a girl. I know people believe that’s impossible, but we have been since high school and are like brother and sister. Well, recently he got serious with his girlfriend and even though he said that wouldn’t change us because of her jealousy he has stopped hanging out with me and only calls or texts me when she’s not around. I miss my friend and was wondering if anyone had a way I could prove to her I am not a threat and get my friend back?"
