Mooyah Burgers: Because the Capital Region Doesn’t Have Nearly Enough Choices for Burgers
Have you heard of a place called Mooyah Burgers? Well, your'e about to, because the burger restaurant is in talks with several groups about opening franchise locations here in the Capital Region, according to the Business Review.
The Texas based burger company expects to open between 15 to 18 locations in our market over the next three to five years. That's a lot of burger restaurants!
Add those to the already burger-filled climate or BurgerFi, SmashBurger, Five Guys, Burger 21 and Juicy Burger... just to name a few... and you've got yourself a lot of ground meat sandwiches. And, I'm not even counting Sonic, McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King!!
Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good burger... but just like Hollywood movies and TV shows that keep getting remade, and rebooted... don't we need some new ideas? Don't we need something new and fresh? I can't eat burgers all the time!
Mooyah Burgers calls themselves a family-centric chain, with booth seating, customizable menu options and chalkboards inside restaurants.... hmmmm.... something completely new.
What do you think? Do we need more burger places? What new restaurants do you think we need in the Capital Region?
