The New York State Police Department issued a release on Tuesday with information about a woman they say has been missing since April.

They've asked for the public's help as they search for the 23-year-old, and here's what we know so far:

According to a press release in the form of a Facebook post, the New York State Police say the woman they're looking for is Brittney L. Snyder of Ogdensburg, New York who was "last physically seen" back on April 12th.

Ogdensburg, a city in St.Lawrence County, is situated near the New York and Canadian border, about 4 hours northwest of Albany.

State Police in Ogdensburg are searching for Brittney L. Snyder, 23, of Ogdensburg. She was last physically seen on April 12, 2022, and last heard by phone on June 5, 2022. She is last known to be in Syracuse, NY. She is described as 5’5” tall and approximately 170 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.  -NYSP Facebook

State Police didn't get into details about how or why she could be missing, but they have reason to believe that she was last seen -  or possibly might be in Syracuse.

And while Snyder hasn't been seen in months, State Police say the 23-year-old was last heard from during a phone call back on June 4th, but they haven't released any details regarding who she spoke with - or the nature of the phone call.

As law enforcement continues the search, any little bit of information, no matter how small could make a difference.
