Millions of Kids’ Water Bottles Recalled [PIC]
There is a huge recall of millions of kids' water bottles due to a choking hazard. Here are the details. According to WGRZ, there is a recall of five point seven million Contigo kids' water bottles. The water bottles' silicone spout can become detached and create a choking hazard for kids.
The Contigo kids water bottles were sold all over the country in Costco, Walmart, Target and other stores along with online through various websites. They were sold from April 2018 through February 7, 2020.
There have been four hundred twenty-seven reports of the spout from the water bottles detaching. There have also been twenty-seven reports of spouts that were found in kids' mouths.
There are three sizes of water bottles. Thirteen, fourteen, and twenty-ounce ones. There were four colors involved in the recall. There are solid colors, graphics, stainless steel, and stainless steel solid colors.
Contigo said that if you have one of these water bottles, you should stop using it and take them away from children. You can contact Contigo for a new one. Call 888-262-0622.
