Freezing rain, sleet, accumulating snow and some flooding is creating havoc on the Capital Region. A number of weather advisories are in effect including winter storm warnings, winter weather advisories and flood warnings. there are reports of some power outages due to ice on wires, and deteriorating and dangerous driving conditions are being created due to this storm. Many roads already have some ice build up on them. Road crews are out trying to treat some of the roads.

National Grid also has an outage map - which if you are viewing this on a wireless device you'll be able to see how long until your power may come back.

Keep in mind, spring is just around the corner.
