Two female students from State University Of New York at Albany were almost abducted on Oct. 8.It happened at the bus stop near Waterbury Hall on Western Avenue.

In a story from News 10 ABC, University Police got a description of the man. He's about 50 years old, was wearing running pants and a "Christmas" sweater.

He allegedly used a knife in an attempt to abduct one of the students. The first student was approached at about 8 a.m., but another student stepped in to help and the woman was able to get away from the man.

The second attempted abduction happened around 8:30 a.m. That woman also got away from him. University Police are now working with The Albany Police Department. The man is in custody, and is being questioned.
