Man Arrested For Several Thefts Including From A Children’s Band
After a two month crime spree of stealing from several vehicles, the Saratoga Springs Police Department have arrested a suspect.
Someone called the Saratoga Springs Police Department yesterday after some of the patrons and employees at D’Andrea’s Pizza in Saratoga Springs saw a man going to a car in the parking lot and stealing items from the car. There was also another call to the police about someone stealing from other parked cars in the area near the restaurant.
The police arrested a suspect, 33-year-old David Farr who was charged with three counts of Petit Larceny, Grand Larceny and Criminal Possession Of Stolen Property. Farr was also charged with Unlawful Possession Of Marijuana.
Back in March, the popular local children’s band, The Zucchini Brothers, had equipment stolen from their van. That equipment was recovered. It’s believed that Farr was allegedly involved in all of the thefts.
According to the article in the Times Union, Farr was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail.
