Man Allegedly Stole Computer & Ran From Cops

A north country man was arrested by New York State Police for allegedly stealing a computer.

In the story from CBS 6 Albany, 36 year-old Richard Berg from Corinth allegedly left the Walmart in Brunswick with a computer without paying for it. Loss Prevention officers from the store notified authorities.

Berg was spotted and approached by a New York State Trooper. In an attempt to avoid getting caught, Berg allegedly tried to run. After a brief chase, Berg was caught, arrested and charged with resisting arrest and petit larceny, and sent to the Rensselaer County Jail.
