Louis CK Announces Surprise Stop at Albany Comedy Club

Well, well, well, hasn't the Capital Region been a popular place for comics to try out new material? Louis CK is next and he's trying out some new stuff right here in Albany tonight!

I just got an email from the Albany Funny Bone this morning announcing that Louis CK will be in town tonight at 8:00PM testing new material. They have warned that the show is being considered XXX and for adults only, which isn't new if you're familiar with his previous material. You can get tickets now through their website.

They have also made it clear that this will be a phone-free experience and, according to the email, "All cellphones, smart watches, smart accessories, cameras or recording devices will be secured in Yondr cases upon arrival and not be permitted in the performance space."

UPDATE: I saw that the 8:00PM show spot has already been sold out but don't rule out another show to open up tonight, it's not unlikely. Keep an eye on the website throughout the day!
