Every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving the Saratoga Automobile Museum hosts its Lost Speedways program which looks back at speedways that are long gone but will not be forgotten.

The event gets underway today with a slide presentation by Kenn VanWert, Roger Liller discussing the old Rhinebeck Speedway and Mark Supley's look at motorcycle racing. Then award winning journalist Ron Hedger will interview legendary driver Wes Moody and NASCAR driver Brian Ross will reflect on the old Saranac Lake Speedway.

Part two of the event will kick off with historian Bill Ladabouche recalling Stateline Speedway and Ken Parrotte looks at the All-Star League and an event at the originally asphalt Albany-Saratoga Speedway.

Finally, longtime Stock Car Racing magazine and Speedway Illustrated magazine editor and TV racing analyst Dick Berggren will partner with Andy Fusco with stories about the dirt track days of the Stafford Speedway.

The Saratoga Automobile Museum is located in the Saratoga Spa State Park.
