Imagine going through your entire academic youth, and not missing a single day of school.  Not one. It's pretty hard to believe that two local high school students will be graduating from Shaker High School with perfect attendance; k-12.  It happened, and these two  students are heroes in my book for sticking it out when they got sick or simply had a day where they didn't want to get out of bed.  I can't help but to wonder if these two students even know what 'The Price Is Right' is?

Shout out to Kayla Kilventon and Tyler Durivage, bot graduating from Shaker High School, who have never missed a single day of school according to News Channel 13.

According to the report, they credit their mom for 'pushing them' to go school each day.

Looking back on my years going through the Albany public school system, I can honestly say, for the most part, that I enjoyed my teachers, loved my friends, and have only positive things to say about the actual schools themselves.  What I cannot say is that I had perfect attendance, or anything even close to it.   I had plenty of sick days, a few added vacation days, and more than one or two 'I just don't feel like going to school today' days.

And I personally would like to thank my mom as well, for allowing me those few occasions to take a 'me day' when I was groggy, a little under the weather, on vacation or just missed my buddy Bob Barker.
