Local Breast Cancer Survivor Surprised by Today Show [VIDEO]

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Today Show reached out looking for breast cancer survivors looking for a "special day." Luckily, Lauren's husband Ryan reached out and gave her an incredible surprise!

Lauren Kent lives in Glenville and had quite a rough year balancing her passion for dance and the lump she found in her left breast which ended up being stage 2 breast cancer. Lauren is a mom of 2 and when she got this diagnoses, her brain went right to them and their future. Thankfully, after a double mastectomy, 8 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, and multiple surgeries, Lauren is currently cancer free!

They told Lauren that she was going to New York City to be on a breast cancer panel but what she didn't realize was that the Today Show was going to surprise her with a dance lesson from the Radio City Rockettes! Her story is incredible and I'm so happy she got to have such an amazing experience.
