Like To Fish? Trout And Salmon Season Opens Soon

Spring is here which means it's time to go fishing. There are hundreds of lakes, streams, ponds, and rivers to enjoy and trout and salmon begins soon. This Monday, April 1st, begins trout and salmon fishing season throughout New York state. According to News 10 ABC, the warmer waters are best for fishing in the state. The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) says that Long Island, the lower Hudson Valley and southwestern New York are best for fishing in the beginning of the season.
