Lightning Strikes Were Frequent In Area Storms

The storms that passed through the area late last night and overnight were fast and powerful. Lightning was flashing fast and frequently.There were power outages as a result in the area including a fairly good sized one in the Ravena area. Some downed limbs were reported on back roads as well. It looks like tonight will be much calmer for us with clearing skies and a low of 58 in the forecast.
