A small earthquake rattled some homes in the Lake George area, on Sunday morning, August 25, 2013, about 9:30 a.m.

In a story from Newschannel 13, the earthquake was measured at a magnitude of 2.7 according to monitors from The United States Geological Society. There was no damage reported, just some rumbling that was felt by several people from the area.

Small earthquakes do happen every now and then in The Adirondacks according to The United States Geological Society.
