The popular motorcycle event is being pushed back a month and will implement some changes to help with social distancing.

Amidst all kinds of events getting cancelled, this is some good news if you are a motorcycle afficionado. CBS 6 is reporting Americade 2020, originally scheduled for June 1-6,  has been rescheduled for July 21 - 25.

Rally organizers told CBS this year's event will be 'touchless' and will incorporate proper social distancing guidelines and will provide handwashing stations amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The event's layout will also be tweaked to accommodate distancing.

It remains to be seen how soon will get back to having full blown events with huge crowds, but it is nice to know efforts are being made to still make events happen where proper distancing achievable. It would be a very long summer with nothing going on. Hopefully these are some positive signs we will be able to get out and about and have some fun in the months ahead.
