According to World Population Review, there are currently 606 reported cases of missing people in New York State. To put that in perspective, that is 3 missing individuals out of 100 New York residents. That is way too many and our state isn't even close to having the most in the country. That distinction belongs to Alaska.

One case in particular has surfaced to public awareness in an attempt to located a teenager from the Capital Region. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our New York State Police this young man has been located.

State Police in Troop G out of Latham, New York are asking for your assistance in locating 14-year-old Peter Duguid. He last had contact with his family on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at about 4pm.

Peter Duguid is described as 5’9” and approximately 150lbs. He is last known to be wearing a red tee shirt, dark colored sweatpants and dark shoes (see photo below) and is believed to be in the Scotia, NY area. If you have any information please contact State Police, Saratoga at 518-583-7000.
