Few bonds in sports are stronger than that of a quarterback, and his star wide receiver.

Think about it: it's a truly mutually-beneficial relationship. If a quarterback makes a mistake with a throw, or just has to get rid of the football, he can often trust his top wideout to come down with the football no matter what. Conversely, a top wide receiver often becomes a star thanks to a strong quarterback delivering him the ball.

That bond has long-since been established in Buffalo between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, and the two shared a heart-warming moment on America's most thankful holiday.

Watch Stefon Diggs Tear Up Talking to Buffalo's Josh Allen on Turkey Day

A video went viral on Tik Tok earlier this week, showing a pregame moment between Buffalo Bills' wide receiver Stefon Diggs, and quarterback Josh Allen, on Thanksgiving Day. The duo was warming up, getting ready for their afternoon match-up with the Detroit Lions.

As is customary on Turkey Day, Diggs wished Allen a Happy Thanksgiving, with the QB returning the well-wishes. The moment took a much more emotional turn in the moments following:

It's such a heartwarming moment, one that shows the inseparability of teammates on certain teams.

Diggs was always a great wide receiver during his time in Minnesota, but never seemed to quite reach the "best in the NFL" discussion on a consistent basis. Then, in March of 2020, Diggs was dealt to the Bills from the Vikings in exchange for four draft picks, uniting him with his current QB, Josh Allen.

Since that time, Diggs has had the two best statistical seasons of his career, and is on-pace to possibly top his previous highs in receiving yards and touchdowns...and it's only Week 13. It's a two-horse race for the best receiver in the NFL between he and Tyreek Hill, and a number of NFL fans would choose Diggs if the decision had to be made.

Not only that, but Diggs' performances led him to sign a four-year, $96 million contract with the Bills, further supplanting him as one of the best in the game at the wide receiver position.

At surface level, it may have seemed odd to see a pro football player choke up while telling his quarterback he was thankful for him, but when you dig into the relationship between Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen, it all starts to make sense.
