Beloved Ice cream flavor back at Stewarts!
There is one Capital Region pastime that those not from the area will never understand. That would be rolling up to your local Stewart's Shops and getting a cone of some of the best ice cream you can get your hands on.
Some of my favorite memories growing up, and even in college up in Plattsburgh, revolved around visiting "Stewie's" as I like to call it. Whether you are stopping in for a snack, a coffee, lunch, or a sweet treat, Stewart's Shops have you covered no matter what you're looking for. Right now if you're looking for your favorite ice cream flavor.... it may be back!
For a limited time Stewart's Shops has brought back its beloved, Peanut Butter Cookie ice cream flavor. Featuring cookie dough flavored ice cream with a peanut butter swirl and chunks of peanut butter cookie dough. I just got hungry writing that sentence.
The limited edition flavor is available at the counter, as well as in half gallons. Stewart's Shops said they made the decision to bring back the popular flavor after fans pleaded for it to make its return.
Peanut Butter Cookie is one of several other limited-time peanut butter ice cream flavors at Stewart's. They also are offering Peanut Butter Pie in pints, and Peanut Butter Brownie Bonanza at the scoop counter.
If you're looking for the closest Stewart's to you, they'll have it for you on their website, as well as a full roster of tasty ice cream flavors. I am certainly going to be stopping at my local Stewart's Shops during my next afternoon commute!
