First, lets start with the free events!  I love that communities get into the Halloween spirit.  Here are some FREE local events this week:

THURSDAY:

Happy OWL-oween!!! 

Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park -  7 p.m. Thursday.  This is going to be quite an event!  Stop by the Clifton Park Public Library and see live owls and birds of prey, brought to you by the Wildlife Institute of Eastern New York.

Pumpkin Palooza Fall Festival

McDonough Sports Complex- Hudson Valley Community College, 80 Vandenburgh Ave/, Troy.- 5:30 p.m. Thursday.  Come in costume and enjoy this party!  There will be magic shows, clowns, prizes, refreshments and carnival games. There will be volunteers on hand to accept donations to the college Food Pantry.

Halloween Party

East Greenbush Price Chopper - 501 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer.  Stop by at 2 pm and enjoy trick or treating in participating stores in Columbia Plaza!  Becker Farms is providing hay rides, The Sheriffs Department will be on hand for Child safety seal checks and safe Child ID cards!

Restaurants are offering some fun Halloween Deals too!

Chipolte Mexican Grill - Stop in any Chipotle location dressed in costume from 5 PM to close and get a burrito for just $3. New this year, you need to include an “unnecessary additive” to your costume to qualify. This is Chipotle’s way of promoting their ‘additive-free’ menu.

IHOP - Today through Halloween, kids can decorate their own Scary Face Pancakes using strawberries, whipped topping, Oreo cookies and candy corn.  Friday, October 30, 2015, kids get a FREE Scary Face Pancake.This deal is available 7am to 10pm. At participating locations only. One per child. Dine in only.
