A Queensbury woman owns her own business and some of that business ended up at the Grammys.

She was also in Nashville for the George Jones Tribute Concert.

Cyndie Wade started her business, by hand painting glasses as gifts for her family and friends. When she created the gifts, she would post pictures of them on her Facebook page. People took notice of how good her work was, and started to order their own hand painted glasses. Her next step – Create her own website. This is where someone that I think everyone has heard of also noticed her work - Taylor Swift. She made some glasses for Taylor. This is what Cyndie thinks may have led to an expansion of her business, all the way to Nashville and Hollywood.

She was called to be included in the gifting suite at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

Her business is called ‘Custom Creations By Cyndie’, which she started almost three years ago. She’s recently been in the news for her trip to the Grammy’s on WNYT and CBS 6 Albany.

From her Facebook page, she noted she’ll be painting the wedding glasses for the star of the Bravo reality tv show Vanderpump Rules, been commissioned to paint Dan Aykroyd for the Crystal Head Vodka Company, a movie premiere opening in May and Sonoma Vineyard (painting custom wine glasses). She’s really excited about being invited back to Los Angeles to be in the gifting suite for the Oscars on March 1 & 2.

We would just like to say congratulations to Cyndie. I think that this is just the beginning.
