GNA’s Countyfest 2020 Cancelled Due To COVID-19 Safety Concerns
In the interest of safety and with the continued uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel GNA’s Countryfest 2020 scheduled for July 12, 2020 at SPAC.
We know this is an event everyone looks forward to every summer and while we will certainly miss seeing everyone at Countryfest, this is the most responsible action for the health and safety of you and all of our concert goers, artists, venue staff and partners. While we certainly hope the climate will allow for mass gatherings and concerts to go on at some point in the near future, we cannot in good faith at this time ask all involved to plan and execute a safe, fun and entertaining event without a clear timeline on when that time may come. So at this time, we will focus our efforts on planning an amazing Countryfest for the summer of 2021.
Just like you, me, Brian, Chrissy and all the GNA staff are super disappointed we won’t get to party together with Brantley Gilbert, Chris Janson, Jordan Davis, Lauren Alaina and Big Sky Country at SPAC this summer. We plan and look forward to Countryfest all year long and we were super excited for this lineup. And we will really miss the best part of Countryfest – getting to spend time with you while sharing the music we love. THAT is what we will miss the most, and we hope we can get together with you real soon for a show. That will truly be a great celebration once we get through this pandemic.
Thanks for understanding, and for listening to 107.7 GNA through these challenging times. While we are apart, we are always together by sharing the music we love.
