Gas Tanker Crashes in Hoosick – Again

Authorities are reporting that a gas tanker has crashed on Route 7 in Hoosick and is on fire. This is all too familiar for residents of the area, as this same thing happened nearly two years ago in March 2011 - and it happened in almost exactly the same spot on NY Route 7, just beyond the junction of NY Route 22.

Word is that traffic is stopped in both directions on Route 7 while the fire department deals with the situation.
