For the Wedding Day, To Shave or Not,

Here is the daily dilemma for Wednesday, March 7, 2012:

"My boyfriend and I have taken the plunge. We've set a date, guys. It should be a dream come true, but there's a major problem that I don't know how to solve. It's my fiance's beard. My parents think that for the wedding he should get rid of it. Now if I stopped here, I'm sure you would just tell them to 'butt out.' But guess what? I agree with them! It's more of a 5 o'clock shadow and that's the way he always trims it. He says 'I'll just grow it out.' I still really don't want the unshaven look at my wedding. He's pretty belligerent about the subject. It's becoming an issue to be sure. I don't want him looking scruffy for our wedding pictures, and my mother will go ballistic if the shots don't come out right. He's to the point where he wants to just elope somewhere. Do you think we are wrong in being so adamant about it?"
