Last week we got hammered with snow, and just as the back aches have subsided and Walgreens has had a chance to reload on all the Advil the weather takes a mean 360 degree turn on us.

Rain is coming down today from the Lake George Region all the way down through the Capital Region. I know many people like to see the snow go away, but when it happens too fast and too early we deal with flooding.

Just on my way into the radio station I noticed a giant piece of East Old State Road in Colonie, NY was washed out. The hole was almost the size of my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix.

People who are at work will be heading home and finding anywhere from 2 to 6 inches or more of water in ther basements.

Remember mother nature, when it comes to melting snow properly it is a marathon, not a sprint. I bet they're working overtime at The Weather Channel Today.

Grab a yardstick and let me know how much water is in your basements when you get home this evening.
