Flash Flood Warning Posted Amongst Others – Local Weather [UPDATE]

Update 4:50pm: Our chief engineer Matt Shea at WGNA just sent the following:

Route 20 is closed due to a flash flood at Rt 406/Gifford Church Rd. Emergerncy services are on the scene. Pictures attached.

Our Chief Engineer from WGNA Matt SHea just sent us the following.

Route 20 is Closed due to flooding.

Also Pangburn Rd is closed between Reutter & Quackenbush due to bridge under water.

Water rushing through lot full of equipment at what looks to be the town highway dept.

Update: Flood Advisory posted for Schenectady County Through 5:30pm from NWS.

The rain was falling very hard between 2:30 and 3pm at the Kings Road studios in Schenectady.So hard that at one point you couldn't really see past 30 yards clearly. We will have more Thunderstorms moving through the region tonight and tomorrow and then it looks like clear sailing for the Memorial Day Holiday. Heavy rains have been pounding Southern Saratoga County and they are now under a Flash Flood Warning until 5pm.
