First-Time Traveler? Get a Free Passport!
If I didn't have to work and had a bunch of money, I would spend all of my time traveling the world. Passports are expensive though. Well, unless you book your trip through the travel company who will pay for it.
If you're a first-time passport holder, the application for the book itself can cost you $110 and then $35 for an "Acceptance Fee." If you're looking for the passport book and card, the application is a little more at $140. Now, a travel company called Contiki wants you to book with them so much, they'll cover that cost for you!
According to the Contiki website, if you're 18-35 years-old, book any 7+ day International trip with them and they'll cover the passport cost for you. You go through the official process yourself, pay the government website and Contiki will either reimburse you for the money you spent on the passport or deduct the cost from what you'll be paying for your trip.
I know what you're thinking, "Why would they do that? This has to be a catch!" As a travel company, they obviously want returning customers and are hoping you'll catch the bug for travel and come back. As they say on their website, "When you travel for the first time, something changes in you." Will you take advantage?
