Upstate New York Man Breaks Into Albany FBI Office
There's not many agencies in the world more secure than the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). As one of the federal government's top programs, they're obviously kept under some of the highest security known to man.
That's what makes this story so baffling to me.

The Break In
Late on the night of April 9th, somewhere close to midnight, 59-year-old Albany Resident Stephen Gullotti did the unthinkable: he broke into the FBI offices.
Well, kinda.
Gullotti climbed the fence surrounding the FBI field office in Albany, found an unlocked FBI GMC truck, and let himself in. He spent the next few hours simply driving the truck around the parking lot, moving from space to space.
He must have eventually gotten tired, because at 4:54 a.m. he was recorded leaving the premises, having done nothing more than drive the vehicle around the lot a bit.
What Happened After
With something like this, you'd expect the suspect to be caught immediately. That wasn't the case here. It took until he left for security to apprehend him, when he was then eventually detained.
While he is merely being accused, if Gullotti is charged, he faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and a term of supervised release of up to three years.
The FBI and Albany Police are investigating the crime, have been adamant that, while scary, this incident proves the security of their offices, as he was unable to make it any further than the parking lot.
