Fall Family Fun & Pumpkin Chuckin’ This Weekend at Popular Upstate NY Brewery
Bring the whole family and those leftover pumpkins to a popular Upstate New York Brewery this weekend. Not only will you be catapulting pumpkins, but there will be a carnival, food trucks, and more!
The Adirondack Pub & Brewery Hosts Its Annual Pumpkin Chuckin' Festival
The Adirondack Pub & Brewery is located on Canada Street in Lake George and some of the fun will happen in the event field behind High Peaks Distilling. The event is this Saturday, November 4, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The Festival Isn't Just Pumpkin Chuckin'
Bring the whole family because there will be a giant slide, a bounce house, many children's activities, carnival rides, and games. There will also be food and beer trucks along with live music. An added treat is the Gem Radio Theater Witches Dance Group and Wizard Grondahl the Wand Maker. Plus a medieval village with demonstrations, storytelling, and vendors.
Admission is free and bring your pumpkins. If your pumpkin can't be catapulted, you will be able to sling fruit. Your pumpkin will be used in the brewery's giant pumpkin drop.
Adirondack Pub & Brewery owner, John Carr said of the event,
This started mainly with catapulting pumpkins. It’s grown into an event that mixes a medieval village with dancing witches, and more. Now we have more than double the amount of vendors this year.
