It’s no secret that many organizations are finding it harder to raise money during this struggling economy, but there is an easy way to help a small independent school in Slingerlands raise some much needed cash. Dining at Applebee's in Glenmont will help a ton!

Independent schools don’t receive money from the government like public schools do, and when the school is small, tuition isn’t quite enough to cover operating expenses.  The Bethlehem Children’s School is a non-profit organization providing a unique and quality education to kids from age 3 to grade 8.   They offer a child-centered curriculum in a stress-free, no standardized test environment.  The school has students coming from eight different school districts in the Capital Region.

You can help them out just by having lunch or dinner at Applebee’s!   On Monday, May 6th, head over to the Applebee’s on Route 9W in Glenmont (it’s near the Walmart and Lowes) and have lunch or dinner.  Give the waiter/waitress the voucher and 10% of your check will be donated back to the school.  Eatin’ Good in the Neighborhood actually HELPS the neighborhood on May 6th!

Invite your friends to join you and don’t forget to print your voucher and give it to the waiter/waitress. Click HERE to download your voucher.
