The East Greenbush Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in hopes of helping to identify the person that robbed the TD Bank at 71 Troy Road. The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. A man walked up to one of the tellers and passed a threatening note stating that he had a gun and demanded money. The teller cooperated with the robber and handed him an undetermined amount of cash. He left the bank and disappeared on foot into the neighborhood next to the bank.

The East Greenbush Police Department sent out a press release with several photos of the robber from the bank's security system, and a description of the suspect. He is described as a white male in his 20s or 30s. His height is between five foot eight inches and five foot 11 inches, and weighs between 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a white American Eagle hooded sweatshirt with the number 77 embroidered on the top left chest, and baggy blue jeans.
