Donny And Marie Osmond Head To Atlantic City
Donny and Marie Osmond are ready to bring their award-winning Las Vegas show to Caesars Atlantic City July 31 to August 5, 2012. The show business legends are still going strong with a new album and a series of sold out shows.
Donny and Marie Osmond have each enjoyed success as a duo, and as solo artists, with careers that include everything from hit recordings, to starring roles in Broadway shows, television hosting, to competing on Dancing with the Stars (Donny was the winner of the 2009 season with his partner Kym Johnson).
Living up to their theme song 'I'm A Little Bit Country And I'm A Little Bit Rock and Roll,' Donny stormed the pop charts with 'Puppy Love' in 1972 and 'Soldier Of Love' in 1989, while Marie was conquering the Country Music world in the '70's with 'Paper Roses' and an award-winning duet with Dan Seals in 1984 for 'Meet Me In Montana.' But above all of this, they are best known for the The Donny and Marie Show, the hit variety show that ran on ABC from 1976 to 1979.
After 30 years in show business, the Ogden, Utah legends made a huge splash in 2008 when they reunited for what was intended to be a six week run headlining at the legendary Flamingo Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Due to the show's overwhelming success, their engagement was extended through 2012. Now, fans that never had the chance to see the show in Las Vegas will have one week to enjoy the magic in Atlantic City, New Jersey July 31 to August 5, 2012.
In addition to a successful live show, Donny (54) and Marie (52) reunited for their first music video together in 30 years 'The Good Life,' from the album Donny & Marie, released on MPCA Records. The single was produced by the legendary Buddy Cannon, producer of Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, and so many more Nashville greats.
