Nathan Osmond On The Rise In Country Music
The name 'Osmond' is synonymous with entertainment. Brothers Allan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, and Jimmy made quite a name for themselves as regulars on the Andy Williams television show in the '60s. Then, the other siblings Donny and Marie Osmond ruled television variety in the '70s with Marie going on to conquer Country Music with four No. 1 singles in the '80s.
Now, all these years later, the Osmonds are still singing their songs! Donny and Marie have released new music while enjoying a hit show in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, the other members of the family continue to sing in Branson with other select concert dates.
Following in his aunt's footsteps, Nathan Osmond is now pursuing a career in Country Music. The son of Allan Osmond is already an accomplished songwriter, singer, producer and motivational speaker. Ever since he was a child, Nathan remembers growing up on the set of the Donny & Marie Show. The late Bob Hope discovered Nathan and his brothers (The Osmonds 2nd Generation) and gave them their first National television appearance on his Christmas show back in 1986. Since then, he and his brothers have traveled to over 14 different countries, singing in many different languages. During the early 90’s, Nathan and his brothers signed with both Curb Records and Epic/Sony in Europe and have placed three songs in the top 40 in the U.K..
Nathan Osmond is now ready for the next chapter of his career with his country release of 'The Tailgate Song.' By the way, watch for video star Darrin Otto to bring the video to life as the lead character. Otto has appeared in classic videos like Allison Krauss' 'The Lucky One' and Carrie Underwood's 'So Small.' In addition, Grand Ole Opry legend Jack Greene makes a cameo offering his support to the new country hopeful.
