Disney/Pixar’s “Up” Coming to SPAC with Live Music
Harry Potter isn't the only movie Saratoga Performing Arts Center is showing this summer, they're adding a Disney movie to the schedule.
SPAC has posted on their website that they will be bringing the Disney/Pixar movie "Up" to the stage on Saturday, August 10th. To celebrate the movie's 10th anniversary, you can go see the movie "Up" on the big screen at SPAC with the accompanyment of The Philadelphia Orchestra live.
If you've never seen the move "Up," aside from the first five minutes being one of the sadest in movie history, it's a really great movie for the whole family. It stars a 78-year-old named Carl who ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to South America. He ends up with an 8-year-old stowaway named Russell and the "unlinkely duo" journeys together and meets some interesting friends along the way.
Tickets are on sale now and range from $29 for lawn to $113 to front orchestra, according to their website. Tickets are cheaper for children under 15.
