Deli Department Tip–No Baloney

I know--you wouldn't expect shopping tips from me, but I actually have a suggestion for all of you grocery shoppers out there.

We have fine grocery stores in our area.  This is hardly a slam against any particular one.. but I find one department that could use a little improvement.  It happens no matter where I go.  It's the deli department.  Seems to take forever.  It's just a very labor intensive thing.  They have to cut the meats, package it...etc..and I feel the workers' pain.  But I have a way to make it a little faster for you, the consumer. 

What I do is make out a list on paper and hand it to them.  Then I can go about my shopping, and they can fill it at their leisure.  It works out great.  You can get everything done, and then go back--and BAM--it's ready!
