Here's how to apply and what jobs they are looking to fill. The vaccine for COVID-19 is on the way and CVS pharmacies all over the country want to be prepared to be able to distribute and administer the vaccine when it's available. They want to be ready so they need to fill hundreds of positions in the Capital Region.

According to News 10 ABC, CVS pharmacies are looking to hire qualified pharmacists, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other jobs. This is to support CVS's COVID-19 vaccine support team. There will also be Hero Pay available for those who administer the vaccine to long-term care facilities.

Since March, CVS has already hired temporary, part-time, and full-time workers upwards of seventy-five thousand employees. But now they are anticipating needing much more.

In October, Walgreens and CVS were selected by the Department of Defense to give out the COVID-19 vaccine to those in nursing homes and long-term care facilities across the country once it's available.
