Crossgates Mall To Welcome HUGE Furniture Retailer In 2026

Crossgates Mall has definitely evolved over the years. What started out as primarily a retail shopping destination back in the 80s has turned into so much more. Dining, entertainment, fitness, and so much more have become part of the Crossgates Mall experience.

However, it ultimately still comes down to shopping and retail, and Crossgates is preparing to welcome a new store this spring featuring a major furniture retailer.

Ashley Furniture Is Coming To Crossgates Mall

Crossgates Mall announced in a press release today that Ashley Furniture will open a new store at the shopping center in the spring of 2026. The store will be located on the lower level next to Crunch Fitness and will be operated by Old Brick Furniture & Mattress. Ashley Furniture is the nation's largest furniture retailer, and this will be the 2nd store operated by Old Brick, which currently has an Ashley store in Rutland, Vermont. Ashley also has a location locally in Amsterdam according ot the store website.
