Countryfest Throwback Thursday – Includes Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley Shots

I hit the motherlode! I accidentally found some amazing shots that have to be seen to be believed, including a young Miranda Lambert and one guy named Dierks Bentley! 

The year was 2005.  On the bill that year? A relative unknown - Miranda Lambert, plus established stars Montgomery Gentry and, believe it or not, Dierks Bentley as well.  Let's turn the clock back to 10 years ago, shall we?  Here's some shots I took back then that I just had to share with you on the eve of Countryfest 2015.

Here she is signing a listener's autograph.  She looks SOOOOO different, doesn't she?  Proving once again that our support acts one year become headliners not too soon afterwards.

I had the chance to bump into Trace Adkins right before he went on.  (Wouldn't that be funny if I was wearing the ROCK HARD shirt? )  This looks like a before and after shot!  Here he is on stage…

I wasn't lying!  Here is Mr. Bentley over a decade ago, just making his way. Dierks had just released his album Modern Day Drifter at that time.   He's certainly not drifting any more! 

Finally, Montgomery Gentry with one of their many, many, many fans.  Wow - they haven't changed one bit!
