It's a glorious day for Common Roots Brewery and craft beer lovers in South Glens Falls.

Common Roots Brewing company announced on their Facebook page that they're leaving their temporary taproom behind and are now open for business in their new brewery on Saratoga Avenue. You can now visit the new taproom for to go sales only while delivery and online sales will be put on hold as they get up and running in the new brewery. In their Facebook post they say drafts and food will be available in the taproom "as soon as possible." Between opening the new brewery and dealing with pandemic safety measures, you can imagine the Common Roots crew wants to take their time with the reopening process to get everything right!

This is just great news for everyone at the brewery and craft beer fans across the region after a fire destroyed the Common Roots Brewery last year. It's also great to see this comeback come to fruition through the challenges of navigating a pandemic. It must have been difficult enough rebuilding after the fire, not to mention adding in the challenges of much shutting down earlier this year. Kudos to the crew at Common Roots on bringing the new brewery to life, and thanks for giving us another day-trip destination for our staycation/social distancing summer. We need 'em!
