What Happened?

According to the New York State Police, on Saturday, at about 11:00 a.m., "Troopers responded to the Gore Mountain Ski Resort in North Creek, New York, where a severely injured skier had been discovered in the area of the Sagamore Trail."

The severely injured skier, sadly, was Kevin Colwell, 53, founder and CEO of the Albany law offices of Colwell Law Group.

State Police say that bystanders and Ski patrol staff attempted all life-saving measures available. Despite their efforts, Colwell, who lived in Guilderland, was declared deceased at the scene.
