Cohoes Strong T-Shirt Fundraiser Nets Over 25K

The city of Cohoes has been through so much in the past 3 weeks.  But if there's one we learned after the fire, it's that Cohoes Strong isn't just a slogan, it's real.  Cash totals have come in from various fundraisers, and the numbers are staggeringly good!

One fundraiser in particular was held by selling "Cohoes Strong" t-shirts.  It was a joint effort from Awards by Walsh & Cohoes Bowling Arena.  The two teamed up to make the shirts proudly and announced that this morning they deposited $25,243.00 into the Cohoes Fire Victims account at Key Bank with donations still coming in.

A remarkable testament to the hard working and proud city of Cohoes, as well as  the entire Capital Region who gave what they could to a community of people who so desperately needed it.

More t-shirts are still available. They will be selling the remaining Cohoes Strong t-shirts for $20 at Awards by Walsh beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, December 20, 2017 thru Friday, January 29, 2017
