An AMBER Alert has been issued by the New York State Police for a missing 9-year-old boy last seen around 1am in Clifton Park.

According to the New York state police and information on the Amber Alert homepage, state police are attempting to locate a 9-year-old Hispanic boy named Gustavo Oliveira.  He has short, black hair and brown eyes and is believed to weight approximately 100 lbs.

The suspect is believed to be Nivaldo P. Oliveira, also Hispanic with short black hair and brown eyes. The 41-year-old male suspect is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 190 lbs.

According to amber.ny.gov, the suspect was last seen traveling on Tallow Wood Drive in Clifton Park, NY at approximately 1am on Friday morning. An Amber Alert was issued because it is believed that the abducted child may be in "imminent danger of serious bodily harm and or death".

State police are urging people to call with any information on the whereabouts of 9-year-old Gustavo Oliveira.
