Celebrities Auction Experiences and Autographs to Build Homes for Vets
Some of your favorite celebrities are auctioning off experiences, movie props, and autographed merchandise to help build homes for veterans and you don't have a lot of time to put your bids in!
Want to be in a show with Ben Stiller? Have lunch with Bryan Cranston? Own George Clooney's actual watch? Well, you can and help a great cause at the same time. TMZ is reporting that Ben Stiller along with some of his celebrity friends have gotten together to raise money for Home for Our Troops. This auction is in its third year and 100% of the proceeds go to the organization that "builds and donates custom homes for severely wounded vets."
The bidding starts tomorrow, November 7th, and you have until November 17th to bid on the items through ebay. They seemed to already have a preview item for 2 VIP tickets to the Charlie's Angels premiere in Los Angeles and the bidding ended with $1,025, which is not bad for the experience you're getting out of it.
Among the list is a suit worn by Ryan Reynolds in the movie "Life," autographed scrubs from "Grey's Anatomy," a guitar signed by Jon Bon Jovi, and more! Along with Ben Stiller, the auction is also spearheaded by George Clooney, CNN's Jake Tapper and Wynonna Judd.
