Capital Region Summer Forecast: It’s Going to Be A Hot One!
We are already starting to see some signs of a warmer than normal Spring, and Summer could follow that trend.
We are about to hit a string of days here in the Capital Region with temps in the low 70's, which is a little above normal for this time of year. It looks like our Summer temps could follow the same trend!
The Weather Channel is calling for hotter than average temperatures for Upstate New York and all of the Northeast June through August. June is expected to be near normal for us, with the hotter temps coming in July and August.
So, it looks like it would be a good time to invest in an air conditioner or two to be prepared for a Summer heatwave. Or, you can go the fun route and buy a few kiddie pools and just soak away with a cold beer all Summer long to keep cool! The latter option sounds more fun, right?
