Capital Region Could See First Snow This Thursday Night
Our average first snowfall in Albany is usually in mid-November, but it looks we could be getting it later this week.
I've been a little obsessed with snow lately, probably because I would rather be shoveling it than raking leaves. This Friday morning we could be shoveling.
According to the Weather Channel, everything could lineup for us to get some snow in upstate New York this Thursday night and Friday. The current cooling trend will continue through the week; throw in some precipitation from the coast and we have a recipe for snow. It is too early to call accumulations at this point and this will not be a major snowstorm, but there is strong potential for some light snow. Which could make your Friday morning commute a little messy.
Maybe a little snow this week will kick your holiday spirit into high gear, or maybe it will give you the motivation you need to wrap up your lawn clean-up. Either way, here we go with winter already!
