'Tis this season to celebrate, and there are many Christmas tree lightings where you can embrace the Christmas spirit. Here are some details on a few you gotta check out!

The Empire State Plaza Tree Lighting and Festival  will take place Sunday, Dec. 2 from 2 to 6. Albany.com says this one also coincides with the Great Train Extravaganza and Taste of  NY Holiday Market and t he celebration culminates with a fireworks display.

If you are looking to get into the Christmas spirit a little sooner, New York Upstate says you can check out the Lake George tree lighting at Shepard Park Saturday, November 24 from 4 to 6pm. Along with the tree lighting, this tree lighting will also have fireworks, a visit from Santa and caroling. And you know Lake George is just stunning this time of year.

Finally, another good one is the Saratoga Springs tree lighting at Putnam Market Thursday, November 29 from 6 to 10pm at Putnam Market on Broadway. New York Upstate says this one includes a 'Victorian Street Walk'  and free refreshments (Cocoa and Cookies!)
