Carnival season is officially starting to take over the Capital Region, and honestly, it feels like every week another set of rides, fried dough stands, and carnival games are popping up somewhere nearby. Now Clifton Park is getting in on the fun, too.

Gillette Shows is bringing its traveling carnival to the parking lot at Clifton Park Center, turning the area into a mini fair packed with rides, games, and all the classic carnival food you can think of.

If you are craving funnel cake, sausage and peppers, cotton candy, or one of those giant lemonades that somehow taste better at a carnival, you are covered.

When Does The Carnival Begin?

The event is set to roll into town this week and stick around into early June, giving families plenty of chances to check it out after work or on the weekend.

Admission is free, so you can walk around, people watch, and soak up the atmosphere without spending anything unless you decide to hit the rides or snack stands.

Get An Unlimited Ride Bracelet

For anyone planning to ride everything in sight, unlimited ride bracelets will be available for 30 dollars. Organizers are also reminding visitors to bring cash because some of the food vendors are cash only, although there will be an ATM on site.
