In honor of Ronnie Dunn's Birthday, I thought I would break out a Brooks & Dunn Classic for this week's edition of Flashback Friday. This week, we go back to 1991 for Kix and Ronnie's very first single and very first #1 hit, Brand New Man.

From the album of the same name, "Brand New Man" was released on June 10, 1991. It would rise to the top of the Billboard Country Charts later on that summer for the duo's very first #1 single. They would follow this up with three more #1 hits, "My Next Broken Heart", "Neon Moon" and "Boot Scootin Boogie". By the time these guys decided to call it quits as a duo, they would release 50 singles with over 20 of them going to the top of the charts.

Obviously, the guys are still keeping busy in the music business. Ronnie has his solo career and has had hits such as "Bleed Red" and "Cost Of Livin'". Kix can be heard every Sunday evening on GNA with the Amercian Country Countdown and he has a brand new single you should check out called "New To This Town".
