Brew Cycle Rolls Into Saratoga This Week
If this doesn't say summer fun in Saratoga Springs, I don't know what does. The Saratoga Brew Cycle will pedal its way through the Spa City this spring and summer and it rolls out this Friday according to News Channel 13.
The Brew Cycle is built for fourteen friends, bachelor, bachelorette parties, family, or whoever you wish to pedal and travel between bars all while getting some exercise. I know it's not about the exercise but more about socializing and touring through beautiful Saratoga Springs. The Saratoga Brew Cycle has been in the works for seven years and after finalizing plans to make sure there is a safe route, they will finally get rolling on Friday.
The Brew Cycle isn't new. It's part of Capital City Cycle that has tours in Troy, Schenectady, and Albany for many years. Don't worry about a designated cyclist. The Brew Cycle has a driver, there are lights and safety features much like a car. There are fourteen seats on the cycle and there is something for everyone. If you don't want to pedal, you don't have to. There are four seats that don't require you to.
The tours last two hours and begin and end at the West Side Sports Bar. It also makes two stops in between. Oh, by the way, there is no alcohol allowed on the cycle but there are cup holders.
The Saratoga Springs Chamber of Commerce has high expectations for the Saratoga Brew Cycle and thinks it will be a big hit. Get ready to pedal on the Brew Cycle starting this Friday night.
